Opinion: Are white people the ‘biggest terrorist threat in this country’?

Liberals and leftists often claim that white people are the race most responsible for terrorism in America. For example:
- “Don Lemon says ‘the biggest terrorist threat in this country is white men’by Alanna Vagianos, Huffington Post, October 31, 2018
- “White supremacy is America’s deadliest threat, says Bidenby Katherine Doyle, Washington Examiner, April 28, 2021
- “Far-right terrorism poses a greater threat to the United States than Islamist extremism after 9/11by Joanna Walters The GuardianSeptember 8, 2021
Sometimes the headlines make the claim objective:
When a terrorist’s race is unknown, some leftists openly want him to be white:
Whether Mr Sirota got his wish is up for debate. The Boston Marathon suicide bombers were two brothers of Chechen and Avar descent:

Most people don’t think Asian Muslims are white, but the US government does. As explained in depth by HA Scott Trask, the US Census does not have separate categories for North Africans, Turks, Persians, Middle Easterners, Arabs, or Central Asians. All are “white”. Here is the federal government map of white countries:
If you think all of these people are white, then America has a serious problem with white terrorists. All of the 9/11 terrorists were “white.” That would mean that the current FBI list of most wanted terrorists is almost entirely white. Of the 44 people listed with names and photos, there are only six blacks (Ishmael Muslim Ali, Ambroise H. Montfort, George E. Wright, Cheri Laverne Dalton, Lebanon Haji Mohamedand Joanne Deborah Chesimard) and an Asian: Raddulan Sahiron, an Arabic-speaking Filipino who is an Islamic terrorist. There are three men with Hispanic names. One of them, Daniel Andreas San Diego, is listed as white. The two others, William “Guillermo” Morales and Jose Espinosa Caballeroare both “white (Hispanic)”.
Of the other 34, five are white. Four are women and all are on the left. And the FBI had to go back decades to include a few.
Leo Frederick Burt is wanted for allegedly participating in the bombing of a University of Wisconsin building on August 24, 1970, in protest of the Vietnam War.
Josephine Sunshine Overaker was charged with two conspiracy violations related to seventeen incidents, five counts of arson, one count of attempted arson and one count of destroying an energy facility; mainly in collaboration with the Earth Liberation Front (ELF) or the Animal Liberation Front
Catherine Marie Kerkow, a member of the Black Panthers, is wanted for her alleged involvement in the hijacking of Western Airlines Flight 701 on June 3, 1972.
Donna Joan Borup is wanted for throwing acid in the face of a New York City Port Authority policeman during a violent anti-apartheid demonstration in 1981. At the time, she was a member of the Communist Organization of May 19, a Marxist-Leninist organization. who advocated armed revolution and the violent overthrow of the United States government.
Elizabeth Anna Duke, another member of the Communist Organization of May 19, the charges against her are numerous.
Who are the other 29? The FBI does not assign them a race, although some are classified by “skin tone”. For example, Saudi Arabia Ibrahim Salih Mohammed Al-Yacoub has an “olive” complexion:
Ibrahim Salih Mohammed Al-Yacoub, wanted for his role in the June 25, 1996 Khobar Towers bombing that killed 19 US Air Force personnel
Palestinian Husayn Muhammad Al-Umari has a “fair” complexion:
Husayn Muhammad Al-Umari, wanted for his role in the August 11, 1982, bombing of Pan Am Flight 830
Moroccan Abd Al Rahman Al Maghrebi the complexion is said to be “light to medium”. Judge by yourself :
Abd Al Rahman Al Maghrebi, wanted for questioning in relation to his role as director of al-Sahab, the media arm of al-Qaeda.
Afghan/Pakistani At Sirajuddin Haqqani the complexion is said to be “clear with wrinkles”. It’s hard to tell from his photo.
Sirajuddin Haqqani, wanted for questioning in connection with the January 2008 attack on a hotel in Kabul, Afghanistan, and coordinating attacks on US and coalition forces in Afghanistan.
These 29 terrorists without race are all from Islamic countries (by birth or descent) outside of Europe. According to the US census, terrorists in southern Afghanistan are white, but those in northern Pakistan are Asian. That makes it one of them, Sajid MirAsian.
Sajid Mir, wanted for his role as chief planner of several 2008 terror attacks in Mumbai, India, which killed six Americans
The race of two others, Sirajuddin Haqqani (above) and Abdullah Shair Khan (below), are unknown, as their birthplaces are not listed.
Abdullah Shair Khan, wanted for his role in the Taliban and the Haqqani network
This means that if you follow the guidelines set by the census, the Liberals are right. Among the 44 most wanted terrorists in our country:
- 77% are white
- 14% are black
- 4.5% are Asian
- 4.5% are unknown, but either Asian or white.
but here’s what you get if you separate Hispanics, North Africans, and Asian Muslims:
- Hispanic: 7% (3)
- White: 11% (5)
- Black: 14% (6)
- Muslims from Asia or North Africa: 68% (30)
The share of Hispanics would be much higher if gangs like MS-13 and Mexican drug cartels were labeled as terrorist groups. Since they are not, Hispanics are underrepresented among terrorists, but dominate the lists of murderers and criminal contractors. Black people, who commit the majority of violent crimes in America, are underrepresented.
As white people, the next time you hear that we are the number one terrorist threat, you’ll agree – as long as Muhammad Abdullah Khalil Hussain Ar-Rahayyal and his ilk are white.
Muhammad Abdullah Khalil Hussain Ar-Rahayyal, wanted for his role in the hijacking of Pan American World Airways Flight 73 on September 5, 1986, which resulted in the murder of 20 people, including two Americans
