Police said the deceased teacher’s name is Rajni, wife of Rajkumar and she was residing in Samba.

According to media reports, the teacher, who was injured after being shot dead by terrorists in Gopalpura district of Kulgam, was admitted to hospital, where she died during treatment. She was a resident of Samba. Kashmir area police confirmed the attack and said the terrorists involved in the incident would be quickly identified and killed. The army has launched a search operation in search of terrorists.

On Wednesday, terrorists also killed Kashmiri television actress Amrin Bhatt. A 10-year-old nephew was injured during the Chadoora incident in Budgam.
